The training comprises a pre-cruise training (landbased) in Punta Arenas, end of May 2019, and the research cruise, starting directly after this workshop on June 2nd 2019 from Stanley ending 29.06.2019 in Bremerhaven, Germany. 25 berth and scholarship are available for travel to the departure port and return flight from Bremerhaven as well as live on board.The target beneficiaries are the ocean experts of the future and the programmewill focus on training postgraduate students (Masters or PhD) of marine-related science and technology. Emphasis will be given to students from less equipped countries. Diversity of race, gender and ethnicity will be encouraged and will promote cultural exchange and understanding.
